The BL novels or the danmei concept always sounded like an experimental plot to me! On top of it, I never thought to read or follow a foreign romantic novel — What to talk about complete romantic novels series. Mo Xiang Tong Xiu is a brilliant author, who actually understands how to create an engaging story, taping unique plots and impressive characters. I recall the attractive storyline of Mo Dao Zu Shi which grew more interesting after the death of Wei Wuxian. Likewise, she crafted a beautiful storyline around the third accession of Xie Lian’s, in Heaven Official’s Blessing (Tian Guan Ci Fu). The protagonist duo is indeed a lovable hit— Xie Lian is portrayed as a beautiful, kind, and charming soul. While Hua Cheng appears like a dazzling but fierce lover.

Tian Guan Ci Fu is indeed a tasteful blend of culture, art, spirituality, and mystery. The attractive storyline simply doesn’t let you put the book down.
